A true gem, Cedric Pilard is a great professional partner. We worked together on projects that ran the gamut from a high-energy sales video for a fitness program to a touching donor video for an annual fundraiser. Cedric makes each project immeasurably better with his input on visual impact and high tech graphic skills. His key qualities are collaboration, creativity, reliability and sincerity.

I hired Cedric as a DP on numerous projects for an advertising agency in Boston. The goal was always to get the most cinematic, subtly lit footage possible, and Cedric came through each time. Whether it was hand held documentary style or a talking head set up, the footage always came back with wonderfully shallow depth of field in the backgrounds and terrific expressiveness, even in conditions that were less than ideal (hospitals, etc.).

I hired Cedric to produce a short video with a high-level client and he did an amazing job. He brought so much knowledge and creativity to the project, and worked within our budget and vision. I found him extremely professional and personable, and he did a great job communicating what was expected and what was going to happen next. I highly recommend him!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Cedric. As the agent for UN AIDS I sought out Cedric to make a short documentary. He worked quickly and turned out a beautiful three minute film. He did everything from camera, sound and lighting to editing, graphics and music. He excels at all these skills. He is also wonderfully easy and pleasurable to work with.

Cedric did incredible work for me for my website. His technical skills and ability to provide solutions to the overall design and interface were unsurpassed.
I would not hesitate to hire him again, and recommend him highly.
He is also a pretty darn good cinematographer and editor.

Cedric Pilard’s film on Daniel Goldstein’s sculpture, Invisible Man, is indeed masterful. Compelling, beautifully filmed and assembled with heart and tact and elegance. Its subject is articulate and engaging
